DrYagoub M A Magid qualified as a doctor at the Faculty of Medicine university of Khartoum, Sudan (1979) where he completed his pre registration training. He then went to Saudi Arabia; he started his Obstetrics & Gynaecology career there at King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh. He then went to the UK and continued his general training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in West Yorkshire. He obtained membership of the royal college of the obstetricians & gynaecologists (MRCOG) in London in 1991. He then joined The Assisted Conception Unit (ACU) at King's College Hospital (KCH) in London; here he started his specialist training in ART; he then became a fertility specialist at London Fertility & Gynaecology where he worked with Professor Ian Craft and then back to King's ACU in 1995 as a senior fertility specialist. In 2000 he returned to Sudan where he co-founded Khartoum Fertility Centre then the nation's first and largest IVF Centre; he has since worked there as a senior consultant in Assisted Conception and Medical Director till September 2010 when he founded The Nile Fertility Centre. Dr Yagoub is a member of several fertility societies eg. MEFS, ESHRE and ASRM. He is a co-founder of the Sudan Human Reproduction & Embryology Society (SHRES); he currently serves as its first President. He is also a member of the middle east fertility society (MEFS) Board.

DrMaha attended The Gazira university medical school, Sudan and qualified as a doctor in 1989. After a short period of training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology both in Sudan and Saudi Arabia she took up clinical embryology as a career. She obtained a Master degree in Medical Science, ART at the University of Nottingham, UK in 2000. Later in the year she joined Khartoum Fertility Centre where she worked first as an embryologist and then senior embryologist till September 2010 when she moved to Nile Fertility Centre. Here she works as a senior embryologist and directs a modern laboratory of four embryologists besides to being involved in all areas of embryology and related issues.

Sawsan went to Gazira Medical School Wad Medani and graduated as a doctor in 1992. She then trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology and obtained her MD in 1998 at Khartoum University. She got the MRCOG in 2005 while she was working in Saudi Arabia. Then she joined Khartoum Fertility Centre and worked there from 2006 till she moved to Nile fertility Centre in September 2010. Here in addition to being a consultant in Assisted Reproduction, other duties include general obstetrics and gynecology and Fetal Medicine.

Samaan qualified as a doctor at the faculty of Medicine, University of Khartoum, Sudan 1995, where he completed his training in Khartoum hospitals. He obtained his medical doctorate in obstetrics and gynaecology (MD) at Khartoum University 2000. He has started his career in infertility at Khartoum Fertility Centre; here he was involved in all aspects of assisted reproduction techniques (ART) in addition to being in charge of the antenatal clinic. He received specialst training in fetal medicine at Harris Birth Right Centre at King's College Hospital, London , 2006. In Sep 2010 he joined Nile Fertility Centre where he continues to do the same work. Dr Samaan is a member of several fertility societies e.g.. ESHRE, MEFS and SHRES.

Amira attended Khartoum University Medical School and qualified as a doctor in 1995.She trained Obstetrics and Gynecology and obtained her MD at the same University in 2001.Then she went to Soba Hospitals where she trained in Fetal Maternal Medicine Unit. She joined Khartoum fertility Centre in 2005 and worked there till she moved to Nile Fertility Centre in September 2010. At Nile Fertility Centre Amira is not only involved in Fetal Medicine work but also in all day to day assisted reproduction issues.

Nelly has a wealth of experiences not only in clinical embryology but also in IVF laboratory management and record keeping. She is in charge of our confidential IVF Register. She qualified as Medical Technologists in the Philippines and CT-ASCP in USA. She has since worked in several countries including USA, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. She joined the IVF team of Khartoum Fertility Centre in 2000 till she moved to Nile Fertility Centre in Sept 2010.

Nisreen graduated from the University of Khartoum with a BSc in Zoology in 2004. Since then she worked as a trainee embryologist at Khartoum Fertility Centre (Sudan) from 2004 to 2005. She then joined the art programme at University of Leeds (UK) where she was awarded an MSc in Clinical Embryology in 2012. She is now working as a junior embryologist at Nile Fertility Centre.
Anaesthesia Assistant
Qualified as an assistant in aenesthesia at Health Science Institute Khartoum in 2004. Has since been working at a number of hospitals including Nile Fertility Centre which he joined in 2013.

Graduated in the University of Medical Science & Technology with a BSc in Medical Laboratory Science in 2011. Since then she worked as a lab technologist trainee at Fedail Specialist Hospital (Sudan) from 2011 to 2012. She then joined the ART programme at University College London UK where she was awarded an MSc in Reproductive Science & Women’s Health in 2013. She Joined Nile Fertility Centre as a trainee embryologist in Jan 2015.

Since graduated as a pharmacist at The Great Alfatih University in Libya, Faiza gained a lot of experience in pharmacy management both in Sudan and Saudi Arabia, She joined Khartoum Fertility Centre in 2003 and had been there till September 2010 when she moved to Nile Fertility Centre as a Senior Clinical Fertility Pharmacist.

Aisha graduated as a doctor at Al-Ahfad University in 2005. She has since worked as a general practitioner at Military Medical Service Sudan. She then worked as a teaching assistant at faculty of medicine, Ahfad University, while there she also started the family doctor programme of the Sudan Medical Specialty Board.
